Celebrate Independence Day under the cool, shaded canopy of Moccasin Lake! Join us this 4th of July for a classic community gathering featuring a first-come, first-served BBQ with free hot dogs (while supplies last). Bring the whole family out for festive eco-crafts, explore our peaceful boardwalks, and take part in a special Heritage Tree Celebration honoring the park’s oldest, grandest oaks. It is the perfect, relaxed way to connect with community and nature this holiday. Admission is free. The event will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
