emotionally charged oil paintings with Cannata’s expressive ceramic works,
highlighting the physical beauty and presence of their materials while blur
ring the line between abstraction and representation.\n\nFuturology\nGuest
judged by John Byrd, this juried exhibition features artists imagining what
lies ahead—from hopeful futures to dystopian possibilities. Awards will be
presented during the reception following the Artist Talk.\nOut of Many, St
ill Many\n\nCreated in honor of America’s Semiquincentennial, this exhibiti
on features regional figurative painters celebrating the richness of divers
e cultures, identities, and everyday moments that shape the American experi
ence.\nPressing On: Printmaking at DFAC\n\nA celebration of DFAC’s thriving
printmaking community, this exhibition brings together students, faculty,
alumni, and instructors to showcase the experimentation, craftsmanship, and
collaboration at the heart of the print studio.\nJoin us for this exciting
summer kickoff and experience the power of contemporary art at DFAC.
