 and now with more options to join!<br /><br />Oldsmar Cares is a for-impact
  501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates solely on the support of vo
 lunteers and donors. Serving the local community since 1997, we offer assis
 tance as a food pantry, clothing closet, and other essentials, such as temp
 orary rent and utility assistance, to those facing difficult times while ke
 eping families together. <br /><br />On Saturday, 23 May 2026, and in recog
 nition of Memorial Day, we continue our collaboration and veteran outreach 
 with the All-American VFW Post 12186 here in Oldsmar. Our two distinguished
  nonprofit organizations are a 100% all-volunteer force.  We are working to
 gether to build a better community, and all net proceeds from the event wil
 l support our efforts to serve residents, families, veterans, and community
  projects. <br /><br />This year, along with a fantastic lineup of sponsors
  and vendors, we welcome back Tampa Bay Brewing Company (TBBC) and Three Br
 others NY Pizza to help expand our afterparty menu! You won't want to miss 
 it.<br /><br />RACE OPTIONS: The opening ceremonies will begin at 7:00 am n
 ear Oldsmar City Hall. The race will start at 7:15 am, and the participants
  will be led down past the Veterans Memorial Park and along the beautiful w
 aters of upper Tampa Bay. These are all designed for everyone, from competi
 tive runners to casual joggers, pet walkers, and even some pushing their st
 rollers. The finish line will greet our finishers with beverages and food f
 or everyone.<br /><br />• The 5k (3.1 miles). This has been reevaluated by 
 USATF and certified by USA Track & Field. Cert #CL25009JK and recognized by
  the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA). <br />• The Memorial Mile.  This 
 1 Mile track is a beautiful stroll down Park Boulevard with shade trees, wa
 ter bowls, and great conversations with friends.  It's perfect for those no
 t ready for three but still want to participate.<br />• The Virtual. Can't 
 Make It? It's OK, I can't make every event either, but I still like your en
 thusiasm. So we've got an option for you to support "From a Distance!"  Par
 ticipants will receive an official race shirt, #bib, and challenge coin. Bu
 t there's more - if you can't make it to the Race Packet Pick Up, we'll eve
 n mail it to you!
