 and now with more options to join!\n\nOldsmar Cares is a for-impact 501(c)(
 3) nonprofit organization that operates solely on the support of volunteers
  and donors. Serving the local community since 1997, we offer assistance as
  a food pantry, clothing closet, and other essentials, such as temporary re
 nt and utility assistance, to those facing difficult times while keeping fa
 milies together. \n\nOn Saturday, 23 May 2026, and in recognition of Memori
 al Day, we continue our collaboration and veteran outreach with the All-Ame
 rican VFW Post 12186 here in Oldsmar. Our two distinguished nonprofit organ
 izations are a 100% all-volunteer force.  We are working together to build 
 a better community, and all net proceeds from the event will support our ef
 forts to serve residents, families, veterans, and community projects. \n\nT
 his year, along with a fantastic lineup of sponsors and vendors, we welcome
  back Tampa Bay Brewing Company (TBBC) and Three Brothers NY Pizza to help 
 expand our afterparty menu! You won't want to miss it.\n\nRACE OPTIONS: The
  opening ceremonies will begin at 7:00 am near Oldsmar City Hall. The race 
 will start at 7:15 am, and the participants will be led down past the Veter
 ans Memorial Park and along the beautiful waters of upper Tampa Bay. These 
 are all designed for everyone, from competitive runners to casual joggers, 
 pet walkers, and even some pushing their strollers. The finish line will gr
 eet our finishers with beverages and food for everyone.\n\n• The 5k (3.1 mi
 les). This has been reevaluated by USATF and certified by USA Track & Field
 . Cert #CL25009JK and recognized by the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA)
 . \n• The Memorial Mile.  This 1 Mile track is a beautiful stroll down Park
  Boulevard with shade trees, water bowls, and great conversations with frie
 nds.  It's perfect for those not ready for three but still want to particip
 ate.\n• The Virtual. Can't Make It? It's OK, I can't make every event eithe
 r, but I still like your enthusiasm. So we've got an option for you to supp
 ort "From a Distance!"  Participants will receive an official race shirt, #
 bib, and challenge coin. But there's more - if you can't make it to the Rac
 e Packet Pick Up, we'll even mail it to you!
