 s residents to Dollars to Donuts, a free, interactive community event that 
 is part of our ongoing commitment to transparency, community engagement, an
 d public education. Join us Saturday, Aug. 1, at 10 a.m. at the Morningside
  Recreation Center, 2400 Harn Blvd.<br /><br />This is not your typical bud
 get meeting.<br />The purpose of this workshop is to engage residents in a 
 discussion about the city's preliminary FY27 budget and gather community in
 put on Clearwater's financial picture, including revenue sources, major exp
 enditures, capital needs, and how changes in revenue would affect service l
 evels. Participants will receive an overview of the city's budget, learn ab
 out the essential services provided each day, and better understand how tax
 payer dollars are invested to support our community's quality of life.<br /
 ><br />Through this conversation, the city seeks to understand residents' p
 riorities, identify the services they value most, and collect feedback that
  will help inform future budget decisions should revenue reductions require
  difficult choices.<br /><br />Kids are welcome! There will be hands-on act
 ivities just for children to enjoy.
