 of our ongoing commitment to transparency, community engagement, and public
  education. Join us Saturday, Aug. 1, at 10 a.m. at the Morningside Recreat
 ion Center, 2400 Harn Blvd.\n\nThis is not your typical budget meeting.\nTh
 e purpose of this workshop is to engage residents in a discussion about the
  city's preliminary FY27 budget and gather community input on Clearwater's 
 financial picture, including revenue sources, major expenditures, capital n
 eeds, and how changes in revenue would affect service levels. Participants 
 will receive an overview of the city's budget, learn about the essential se
 rvices provided each day, and better understand how taxpayer dollars are in
 vested to support our community's quality of life.\n\nThrough this conversa
 tion, the city seeks to understand residents' priorities, identify the serv
 ices they value most, and collect feedback that will help inform future bud
 get decisions should revenue reductions require difficult choices.\n\nKids 
 are welcome! There will be hands-on activities just for children to enjoy.
