 llinator Census.<br /><br />Observe a plant of your choice for 15 minutes a
 nd record which bees, butterflies, or other pollinators stop by! Count shee
 ts and insect ID guides provided.<br /><br />Free with Gardens admission or
  membership. No pre-registration required. Sunscreen, hats, bug spray, and 
 reusable water bottles encouraged. Weather permitting.<br /><br />About the
  Great Southeast Pollinator Census:<br />This community science project was
  started by Becky Griffin (University of Georgia Extension) with three goal
 s in mind: to create sustainable pollinator habitat, increase the entomolog
 ical literacy of our communities, and generate useful data about pollinator
  populations.<br /><br />The first statewide count took place in Georgia in
  2019, and the census has continued to grow ever since, with Florida joinin
 g in 2024.
