YMCA of the Suncoast Summer Camps - Greater Palm Harbor

Memories made in summer last forever! Campers will experience a new adventure every week, exploring themes through activities that challenge them to try new things while having FUN! They’ll also build relationships, swim daily (weather permitting), participate in indoor & outdoor activities and grow confidence & self esteem.

Every week at summer camp at the Y has a different theme so campers can keep learning and playing new things. There is also a Wacky Wednesday and Fun Friday every week where campers are encouraged to dress up to match the week’s theme; these can be viewed online when you go to register. Our Jr. Lifeguard Campers do not participate in weekly themes.

Camp Harbor
Camp Harbor offers diverse and enriching activities that create lasting memories. Campers will strengthen their social skills and teamwork through weekly themes, STEM projects, outdoor and indoor activities, field trips, daily swims and Fun Fridays. Our new facility provides a welcoming backdrop to blend education, recreation and social connections making
it an unforgettable experience for all campers.

Summer Sports Sampler Perfect for the athetically enthusiatic camper, the Summer Sports Sampler provides a fun environment for children to learn new skills and develop great friendships. Campers will learn the fundamentals of various sports while learning about sportsmanship, teamwork and respect.

COUNSELOR IN TRAINING (C.I.T.) - Ages 13-17
Teens will be offered the opportunity to develop leadership and program skills that will prepare them for a counselor position. The camp will focus on small group dynamics, communication skills, teamwork and values clarification. C.I.T.s help organize games and activities with campers and assist counselors with daily responsibilities.
