YMCA of the Suncoast Summer Camps - James P. Gills Location

Y camp is a fun and happy place to enjoy the summer! Campers will participate in sports and specialty activities aligned with the weekly themes. They will also make friends, build self confidence, grow in self reliance and develop conflict resolution & listening skills. FREE swimming lessons will be provided to campers who may need a little extra help. We’ll also have: opening & closing assemblies, camp songs, fun games, arts & crafts and so much more!

LYNX DAY CAMP - Ages 5-12
Our Summer Day Camp provides youth with activities that teach values, conflict resolution and leadership skills. Campers will participate in both sports and specialty activities aligned with the weekly theme. They will have fun while making friends, developing
new skills, building self confidence, appreciating teamwork and growing in self-reliance. For kids, Y camp is a fun and happy place to enjoy the summer. FREE swim lessons will be provided to campers who may need a little extra help with their skills.


Making a Difference Summer Camp Teen Internship - Ages 13-17
The YMCA believes that teenagers require a nurturing environment to develop and mature. We aim to equip your teen with leadership and job skills that will boost their self-confidence, give them a sense of accomplishment and help them forge lifelong friendships with both campers and staff. Your teen will learn how to work with children aged 6-12, gaining knowledge and empathy in the process. Join the YMCA this summer to create a safe and funfilled adventure for our youth. Teens will receive training in Basic Life Support, Basic First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen, as well as learn to be a junior lifeguard.

at ymcasuncoast.org/letscamp. Once review is complete, parents and teens will receive more
