The Performing Arts Center is known for its small town intimate atmosphere with big city acoustics and performances. Concerts, Comedy, Educational and Cultural Events are presented year-round in Tarpon Arts Family Friendly season lineup. Our mission is to provide an inclusive platform for the arts, culture, and entertainment. We strive to create unforgettable moments and lasting memories for our community members and out of town visitors alike.
This beaux arts-style building was originally constructed as a school in 1925 following the plans of noted Florida architect Emmett Hull. After the building was no longer used by the school board, the City of Tarpon Springs purchased it and, with the help of historic preservation grants, restored it in 1987 (the City’s centennial year). It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
