From these humble beginnings, PARC has grown to be known as a progressive leader in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities. With over 40 programs, PARC offers many choices to the individuals it serves. We invite you to explore our rich history and rapid growth, made possible by the generosity of those in our community and beyond.
Since 1953, PARC has been offering unique and vital services and today supports over 800 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For children, the Discovery Learning Center supports hundreds of children and families a year with the Early Intervention and Education programs, Family and Respite Services, and an array of therapies. Adults participate in “Live, Work and Play” opportunities with the community to advance workforce development, self-sufficiency and enjoyment of life.
