Chainwheel Drive

In 1979, Chainwheel moved to larger quarters on Drew Street and later in 1997 down the street to the newly renovated Gulf Discount building at 1770 Drew Street that we now call home. A second Chainwheel store was opened in the Palm Harbor area in 1985 to serve the needs of the growing northern Pinellas County cycling community.

In 2004 our Palm Harbor store added additional space in its current location at US 19 & Tampa Road. In 2010 our Clearwater store built an addition onto the Mars Avenue side of the store in order to make expand room for more bike goodies and services. We also added new Florida friendly landscaping and won a beautification award from the City of Clearwater.
