Dive into a family-friendly Halloween Spooktacular at Clearwater Marine Aquarium with daily activities and spooky decorations October 27 through October 31. Join us from 3pm-7pm on Oct. 31 for an evening of eerie excitement, featuring a live DJ, costume contest and a dozen trick-or-treat candy stations for kids!
Daily Spooky & Fall Fun Activities Oct 27-31:
Spooktastic Aquarium: Clearwater Marine Aquarium will undergo a ghostly transformation as guests tour through the aquarium’s eerie exhibits, and encounter not only marine life but spooky surprises of ghostly grottos, haunted shipwrecks, and mysterious creatures.
Amazing Animals Presents Trail of Terror: Go on a haunted adventure as you encounter tarantulas, snakes, scorpions, and other creatures lurking in the shadows. Beware pirates and skeletons along the way as you discover hidden tales of the sea. Whether you’re a brave thrill-seeker or a cautious explorer, this haunted trail full of creepy critters promises a journey that will leave you both amazed and spooked.
Indoor Corn Maze: Children seeking a less spooky trail can enjoy finding their way through an inflatable corn maze.
Ghoulish Games and Activities: Enjoy a variety of Halloween and fall-themed games and activities for all ages, from ghoulish dance routines to marine-themed crafts.
Underwater Pumpkin Carving: Watch as the CMA dive team displays their underwater pumpkin carving skills!
Halloween Spooktacular Evening Activities Oct. 31, 3pm-7pm:
Live DJ Entertainment: A DJ will play spooky music and storytelling sessions will give kids a chance to hear some silly tales.
Costume Contest: Come dressed in your most creative and creepy costumes for a chance to win prizes. The costume contest is open to all ages, and the final winners will be chosen by a surprise judge at CMA.
Animal Presentations: Learn about marine mammals with special presentations by aquarium experts, including presentations with our resident dolphins and animal care specialists.
Food and Refreshments: The Shark Bites Cafe and Snack Shack locations will be open and offer their full menus, in addition to event-themed treats.
Trick-or-Treat Trail: Follow the candy-filled path through the aquarium, where treat stations await. Encounter friendly costumed characters and collect Halloween goodies along the way. Don’t forget to bring a trick-or-treat bag. Treat stations sponsored by La Dee Da Kids Spa, Celebration Station, Starship Yacht, Dippin’ Dots, Empower, Berkshire Hathaway, and many more.
