Please read full post before booking through Salty Dog Kayak Rentals - Werner-Boyce State Park! You are more than welcome to bring your own kayak for this event.
Join us for a family fun day on the water. All caregivers, children and pets are welcome. Each tandem kayak holds two adults, and they have one bonus mini seat for a small child, pet or gear. We will have lunch at Turney Key, where we will swim/snorkel. Bring water, lunch, sunscreen & bug spray! Optional: snorkel gear for Turney Key. Life jackets are provided for all adults and for children who weigh 30 lbs or more.
Important information:
*** It is $49 per tandem kayak, but if we have a group of 15 or more, they take 10% off each kayak. BEFORE BOOKING, please message TreeTots Playgroup or the host, Morgan Marie. I will update everyone as soon as we get 15 ready to book, and then we will book together using my discount code.***The paddle to Turney Key can be a little bit of a haul, so be prepared for a little over a mile journey there. We will take as many breaks as we need.
Itinerary:
8:30am: Meet at Salty Dog Kayak Rentals
9am: Scenic paddle to Turney Key, look out for manatees & dolphins!
10:00am-10:30am: Arrive at Turney Key to swim/snorkel
11am: Lunch
11:30am: Head back to launch
1pm: Return kayaks
