Sunset Nature Scavenger Hunt at Starkey Wilderness Preserve

  • When: Thursday, August 22, 2024,  7:00 pm -  8:30 pm
  • Location: Starkey Wilderness Preserve, 14900 ST 52 E, Land O' Lakes, FL 34638
  • Cost: FREE

Explore with us on a sunset scavenger hunt in nature while we learn more about what we find! Meet us in the parking lot by 7pm and we will hike as a group. I will pass out boards & pens. This activity is child-led meaning we can encourage them but it’s ultimately all at their own pace. To donate towards the production of these free events, scan the QR code on this flyer. Note: there is no playground or indoor facilities at this preserve. There are bathrooms and possibly water fountains but be prepared to hike! It will be a total distance of 1 mile long and it won’t be completely stroller friendly just because it’s kind of rocky but it is safe for walking children of all ages, or for baby wearing of course. There is a map if you decide to hike without the group. No registration is required. All ages welcome.
