The Union Academy Revitalization Committee and the City of Tarpon Springs invite the community to celebrate at the Juneteenth Day Celebration & Continental Breakfast! Join us on Saturday, June 20, from 9:00 AM–11:00 AM at the Tarpon Springs Community Center, located at 400 S. Walton Avenue.

This FREE community event will feature guest speakers, dancers, free continental breakfast while supplies last, and much more! Bring your family and friends for a morning of history, celebration, community, and fun.
Juneteenth is a federal holiday observed annually on June 19, commemorating June 19, 1865, when Union Army Major General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, Texas, and announced that enslaved African Americans were free.
