Join us after dark for a little adventure at Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park. We'll be on the lookout for some amazing nocturnal wildlife, exploring the trails while having a great time. Get ready to listen for the hoots of owls, hear bats with our bat detector, and even hunt for glowing scorpions using black lights. It's going to be an awesome night out in nature!
This hike will be about 2 miles long and last between 1.5 and 2 hours.
We will meet at the corral parking lot and begin at 6PM.
Trails are sandy and not suitable for strollers. Lights are not required, but if you wish to bring one, only black/UV lights and red lights are allowed. No white lights will be allowed for this program.
It is recommended to bring water, bug spray, and wear close toed shoes. No pets please.
Refunds must be requested at least 1 day prior to the program. Program subject to cancellation due to weather. An email notice will be sent out in the event of a cancellation.
Pre-Registration is required. We cannot register people at the time of the program. Limited spots available!
Ages 7 years old and up. A parent or guardian is required to attend if a child is under 18 years old.
